Cane River Bar and Grill, established in December 2007, is located on the banks of Cane River just minutes east of Natchitoches' Historic Downtown. Great place for friends and family specializing in St. Louis Style Ribs, Black Angus Rib Eye Steaks, and Authentic Pressed Cuban Sandwiches. Their full menu includes delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and homemade desserts. All of their meats are smoked in house. Full service bar with a large selection beer and Natchitoches' own legendry Almond Tea. Dine indoors and enjoy the flat screen televisions or outdoors on the covered deck overlooking the beautiful Cane River Lake.

Antoon's Riverfront Restaurant provides a unique and charming dining and social experience in the Landmark Historic District. Great food and southern hospitality is what you will enjoy here. Antoon's is the only downtown restaurant located on the Cane River Lake. Three different dining experiences await patrons. The main dining room features wrought-iron lattice work and brick providing a more intimate setting. The lounge features a full service bar and a view of Cane River through the windows. The outside patio and split-level deck dining area sit underneath sweeping oak trees set on the banks of Cane River. On the menu Chef Todd Barrio's specialties include Black Angus Steaks cooked to perfection and Louisiana Seafood topped with imaginative sauces. A selection of delightful pasta dishes, tasty salads, sandwiches, Natchitoches favorites and appetizers are also served. Antoon's is a great location for families and groups and is open for lunch and dinner.

Papa's Bar & Grill and Mama's Oyster House are locally owned and operated, located next door to each other in Historic Downtown Natchitoches. Papa's Bar & Grill, opened in August 1996, offers a wide variety of sandwiches, including hamburgers and Po-boys, fried seafood and USDA choice steaks. Mama's Oyster House, opened in October 2000, offers a menu specializing in seafood dishes and of course fresh Louisiana oysters. Mama's also features the Blues Room and outdoor covered patio and welcomes large groups. Mama's also has live music every Friday and Saturday night.
